We hope you have a wonderful break enjoying quality time with family and friends and taking advantage of the beaut weather we are forecast to have over the next couple of days.
For those travelling, stay safe on the roads and for those joining us at Nelia Gaari, we can't wait to catch up with you all.
And as you can see …. the bunnies are in plague proportion this year at Nelia Gaari!! … See MoreSee Less
With March about to come to an end, I though we'd better share the March image from the 2026 Nelia Gaari Calendar. This image was captured at sunrise January last year filled with firey shades of red, it stood true to the saying, as the day went on to be a scorcher. Red sky at night, shepherd's delight. Red sky in morning, shepherd's warning.
The river has changed from green to brown as the flood waters make their way down dried creek beds. Its not the milky colour we associate with the Darling River, but this will help restore that.
When the days are long and hot, our cows have the right idea 😂 🤠 You have fun mustering them sheep humans, we will be here in the shed if you need us! 🦬🐮🦬
We've enjoyed sharing in some of this rain that has spread across the Western Region. Its always great when you get follow up rain to keep the paddocks green 🤠
Hello February albeit a little into the month already! For those wondering "what the black thing is"? This photograph was taken from one of our riverside campsites as the river began to flood and take over our sites one by one. That black thing is our fire surround holding its ground as the water crept up.
Happy Easter from all of us at Nelia Gaari.
